Advent Calendar Accomplished (Finally)

DSC_0503

If you’ve talked to me in the last three months or so, you’ve heard about this advent calendar. I started working on it in September and I feel like I haven’t shut up about it since. I sewed all the squares by hand, which it took forever, but I think it was worth it for the end result. There are parts of the calendar that I’m not as happy with as I could be, but I guess I can live with those mistakes. Here are more pictures of an advent calendar than you ever wanted to see.

Cute. Do you put candy in the pockets or move something from pocket to pocket?

I'm putting candy and an activity in each pocket (like build a gingerbread house, etc.) Of course I bought candy today and managed to get only 22 pieces.

I love it! I'm so proud of you! I've still only cut squares for mine. . . oops. But at least now I can borrow from your creativity because your squares are so freaking cute!

Wow!! I really like it!! And it's even cooler because you made it yourself. AND not only did you make it yourself, but you truly did an amazing job. :) Good work!
