Le Quesnoy

Well, we went on another one of our little day trips today. We visited a little town just south of Lille called Le Quesnoy. (Jonathan and I call it Quizno's for ease of speech.) It is a fortified city, so we walked all around the bastions. There is a monument and garden dedicated to New Zealand because they liberated the city during the First World War. Other than that, however, there is not a whole lot to do/see in Le Quesnoy. It was freezing, so we only ended up staying for a couple of hours, but it wasn't very far so it was okay.

I hope that everyone has a Happy Easter! The French schools get Monday off too, so it will be a nice long weekend for me!
